To the woman growing in faith,

Isaiah 43:19

“The time has sprung forward…” and a new season is near.

As I close my eyes and visualize spring, I see all of nature coming forth in its newness, new flowers blooming, fresh green grass covering the ground, and trees that were once bare becoming full again. What once looked empty begins to flourish. What once appeared lifeless begins to grow.

This transition into spring is necessary for new growth.

Before the beauty of spring appears, nature must first pass through winter. During winter, things look still and quiet on the surface, but beneath the soil something powerful is happening. Seeds are being prepared. Roots are strengthening. The earth is being restored for what is about to emerge.

Spring does not arrive suddenly without preparation. The transition matters.

Temperatures begin to warm, the days grow longer, and sunlight increases. These changes signal the earth that it is time for life to rise again. Seeds that were once buried begin to break open, and what was hidden beneath the soil begins to push its way toward the light.

In the same way, God often allows transition seasons in our lives before new growth appears.

There are moments when life can feel like winter seasons of waiting, pruning, or stillness. Yet even in those moments, God is still working beneath the surface. Just because growth is not immediately visible does not mean that God is not preparing something new.

Isaiah 43:19 reminds us of this truth: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”

God specializes in bringing forth new life. What once seemed dormant can grow again. What once felt empty can be filled again. What once looked impossible can suddenly begin to spring forth.

As the clock moves forward and spring approaches, let it serve as a reminder that God is always moving His people forward as well. Seasons change, and with every new season comes an invitation to trust Him, to step forward, and to walk by faith.

So as this new season begins, go forth and walk by faith.

What will you allow God to do new in your life?
